QC helps Barangay Old Capitol Site fire victims

The Quezon City Government wasted no time in providing financial assistance to 154 families affected by a fire incident in Barangay Old Capitol Site last Sunday. Mayor Joy Belmonte personally distributed the financial aid to the victims who are currently seeking temporary shelter at the Pechayan Area Multipurpose Hall.

Mayor Belmonte took the opportunity to check on the well-being of the fire survivors and assured them of continuous support from the local government as they rebuild their lives after the tragedy. Alongside Mayor Joy, representatives from the Social Services Development Department (SSDD) including OIC Rowena Macatao, District 4 Action Officer Al Flores, and the Barangay Old Capitol Site council were present during the distribution of aid.

The immediate provision of financial assistance demonstrates the city government's commitment to alleviating the plight of the affected families and helping them recover from the devastating incident. The Social Services Development Department and other relevant agencies will continue to assess the needs of the fire survivors and provide further assistance accordingly.
