Nagpulong ang Quezon City Economic Development and Investment Board (EDIB) sa pangunguna ni Mayor Joy Belmonte upang pag-usapan ang mga polisya at hakbang tungo sa pagpapaunlad ng ekonomiya ng lungsod.

Iprinisinta naman ni Quezon City Local Economic Investment Promotions Office (LEIPO) head Pierangelo Dominguez ang Economic Development and Investment Plan para sa susunod na tatlong taon.

Importante na mahikayat ang mga negosyante na mamuhunan o magtayo ng negosyo sa QC dahil makatutulong ito sa ekonomiya lalo na sa paglikha ng mas marami pang trabaho, at magkaroon ng pantay pantay na pag-unlad ang iba’t ibang distrito ng lungsod.

Noong 2013, ipinasa ng Sangguniang Panlungsod ang SP 2219-2013, an “Ordinance Adopting the Economic Development Incentives Code of Quezon City” upang mahikayat pa ang mga potential investors sa QC sa pamamagitan ng mga incentives. Malaki ang maitutulong nito sa pagsulong ng ekonomiya ng lungsod.
