Residents of Villa Verde in Barangay Sta. Monica, Quezon City can now enjoy a new park in their area.

The Villa Verde Park, located at Rojo Street, was inaugurated by Mayor Joy Belmonte and other city officials on March 12, 2023.

The park features a playground, gazebo, concrete benches, and a handwash area, making it a perfect place for residents to take a stroll, play, and exercise. The inauguration ceremony was attended by District 5 Representative PM Vargas, District 5 Action Officer William Bawag, ACA for General Affairs Rene Grapilon, Atty. Zandy Zacate of the Infrastructure Committee, Barangay Sta. Monica Chairperson Nelson Alcantara, and Villa Verde HOA President Eloisa Balajonda.

The opening of Villa Verde Park is part of the city government's efforts to provide more public spaces for its residents to enjoy.
