Quezon City holds Christmas decor competition

Napuno ng makukulay na palamuti at dekorasyong gawa sa recycled at repurposed materials ang mga barangay na kalahok sa 2022 Christmas Decor Competition ng Quezon City Government.

Mismong si Mayor Joy Belmonte ang bumisita sa 11 shortlisted barangays mula sa anim na distrito ng lungsod. Bawat barangay ay may iba-ibang pakulo para mas maka-engganyo ng mga residente na mamasyal sa kanilang display.

Kasama sa mga barangay na bahagi ng finalists sa ilalim ng below 100sqm category ay ang Barangay Philam, Unang Sigaw, San Roque, Kamuning, at Capri, habang nasa more than 100sqm category naman ang Barangay San Antonio, Batasan Hills, Blue Ridge B, San Isidro Galas, Greater Lagro, at Talipapa.

Kabilang naman sa mga hurado ng patimpalak sina Barangay Community and Relations Department Head Ricky Corpuz, Social Services Development Department OIC Rowena Macatao, Transport and Traffic Management Department Chief Dexter Cardenas, at mga kinatawan ng QC Tourism Department at Public Affairs and Information Services Department.
