QCPD holds Health and Wellness Fair

Through the initiative of Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Director, PBGEN Nicolas D Torre III in coordination with the District Community Affairs and Development Division (DCADD) under PLTCOL Benjamin Ariola and in partnership with Rotary Club International District 3780, conducted a Health and Wellness Fair in relation to the celebration of World Polio Day, today in Quezon City.

249 police officers were given the opportunity to have checked up including internal medicine consultation, ultrasound and urology. On the other hand, 30 dependents aging from 0-5 also given an oral polio vaccine.

In his message, PBGEN Torre III expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all the people who made the activity possible especially the Rotary Club International District 3780. He also reiterated the awareness about polio and its importance.

In his closing message, “To the parents and guardians who are present here today, i would like to encourage you to keep your children vaccinated not only polio vaccine but all those vaccines to make them fully immunized,” said PBGEN Torre III.
