QC Kabahagi Center Promotes Disability Awareness
In celebration of Cerebral Palsy Awareness and Protection Week, the QC Kabahagi Center for Children with Disabilities in Brgy. Sauyo conducted a meaningful Disability Awareness and Sensitivity Training program. This initiative aimed to raise awareness about Cerebral Palsy and provide support to children with physical disabilities.
During the event, an "Akbay Barangay: Physical Disability Screening Program" was held, allowing for a personal assessment of children with physical disabilities. This program aimed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the challenges these children face and to identify areas where they need assistance.
The activities organized by the QC Kabahagi Center had a twofold purpose. Firstly, they sought to broaden the awareness of QCitizens regarding Cerebral Palsy, a medical condition that affects many individuals. Secondly, they aimed to extend a helping hand to children with disabilities, ensuring that they receive the support and attention they need.
This event represents the QC Kabahagi Center's commitment to inclusivity and support for individuals with disabilities. By fostering greater understanding and empathy within the community, they are taking significant steps toward creating a more inclusive and compassionate society for everyone.
