QC Future of Work Conference Concludes with Emphasis on Climate Action
The closing sessions of the QC Future of Work Conference provided a platform for diverse agencies to share actionable steps in responding to climate action and disaster risk management, highlighting the collaborative potential between the government and private sector.
Over the course of two days, business owners, corporate executives, entrepreneurs, and representatives from both national government agencies and local government units converged to deliberate on programs and policies tailored to the evolving landscape, aiming to foster sustainable, inclusive, and resilient workplaces.
Mayor Joy Belmonte stood in unity alongside key figures such as Margie Santos from the Business Permits and Licensing Department, Ma. Bianca Perez, Officer-in-Charge at the QC Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, and esteemed panelists including City Engineer Atty. Dale Perral and QC Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability Department head Ms. Andrea Villaroman.
