QC teams up with Connected Women, Aboitiz Foundation
Quezon City, Philippines - In a bid to empower women and facilitate their advancement, Mayor Joy Belmonte of Quezon City held a significant meeting with Connected Women and the Aboitiz Foundation to discuss the collaborative efforts behind the Elevate AIDA program. This innovative initiative, abbreviated as "Artificial Intelligence Data Annotation," seeks to provide women with essential skills for utilizing AI-based technology and social media platforms, enabling them to become adept tech workers.
The Elevate AIDA program has set an ambitious target, aiming to train an impressive 300,000 women by the year 2025. During the meeting, Mayor Belmonte was joined by several key figures, including Connected Women CEO Agnes Gervacio, the Gender and Development Technical Working Group Head Janet Oviedo, and Aboitiz Foundation Program Manager Gero Torres.
